SANLY Privacy Policy

SANLY is a reminder and celebration app that helps you remember special occasions and prepare wishes for people you care about. This Privacy Policy explains how SANLY handles information when you use the app.
Information you enter
You may enter information such as a person's name, occasion, date, relationship, preferred wish language, and custom wish text. SANLY's current version stores this information locally on your device for the purpose of providing the app's reminder and wishing features. SANLY does not require you to create an account.
Data collection and sharing
SANLY's current version does not operate a SANLY backend for storing your celebration information, does not sell your personal information, and does not contain advertising. SANLY does not import your contacts.
When you choose to share a wish using WhatsApp or your device's sharing features, you initiate that action. The selected third-party app or service handles the information you choose to share according to its own privacy practices.
Notifications
If you grant notification permission, SANLY may schedule local reminders on your device for saved occasions. You can control notification permissions through your device settings.
Data retention and deletion
Celebration information is retained locally on your device while it remains saved in SANLY. You can delete saved celebrations from within the app. Removing the app may also remove locally stored app data, subject to your device platform's backup and restore behavior.
Security
Because the current version keeps celebration information locally rather than sending it to a SANLY server, SANLY does not maintain a remote database containing that information. You should still protect access to your device using the security features provided by your device.
Children
SANLY is not specifically designed or directed to children. We do not knowingly operate a SANLY service that collects personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated if SANLY's features or data practices change. The latest version will show its effective date on this page.
